The Challenge	A prestigious international association needed fresh ideas to bring new life to their annual event. Like most annual event organizers, the client was under pressure to exceed the previous years’ expectations and performance. And though the bar was raised higher every year, the budget remained the same. With diverse requirements for over 300 exhibitors and more than 3500 attendees, an Awards Gala event and entertainment, presenting this organization’s event with impact, innovation and creative flair was no small challenge. The client turned to CCR Solutions for help.
The CCR Solution	CCR began with our customary team approach. The initial consultation included representatives from our Technical, Production, Operations, and Sales areas so that everyone involved understood the client’s vision, objectives and specific requirements. Feeling confident with the enthusiasm, experience and professionalism of the CCR team, the client left us with a little more than a blank canvas. The CCR team began the creative process, envisioning a variety of solutions to deliver the vision for the clients’ messages, their exhibitors, presentations and entertainment. Set design sketches were created along with technical AutoCad™ drawings. Lighting solutions were devised to give each of the primary sessions for 1500+ attendees a fresh look and feel. Finally, a technically sound equipment list and related technical proposal was created and refined. CCR Solutions hosted the client’s site inspection in Toronto. The team staged a mini theatre at the CCR location utilizing state-of-the-art screen blending and titling software. Customized graphic imaging presented the client’s corporate look and feel.
The Results	The client was pleased and impressed by the fact that they could ‘view’ the staging of the event in advance, making change requests well before the actual event took place. There was also ample opportunity to accommodate additional requests or refinements. CCR Solutions provided a single source for a variety of event services including concurrent breakout sessions, set design, general sessions, Awards Gala, entertainment, audio and lighting support. Our solutions were delivered with passion and creativity - within our clients’ budget. Attention to detail and our personal touch not only helped to make it a great event but a resounding success. The Challenge	One of Canada’s leading Investment, Insurance and Group Benefit Companies needed new ideas for their annual Sales Conference. Each year, the company aims to reward their top sales people in a new and creative way. San Antonio, Texas was selected as the conference destination, where more than 1800 people would receive an award on stage. Holding the interest and attention of the audience while moving through a vast number of award recipients represented an enormous challenge – the kind of challenge CCR Solutions is here to meet.
The CCR Solution	Having worked with the client in years past, the CCR team understood the challenges involved. But this event was different: it needed a memorable theme. After the venue was selected, the CCR team worked with the client to develop that theme. “The Alamo” was selected to fit with the location of the event and the theme was applied to various elements, including · Set sketches · Set renderings for final carpentry work · 3D animated Master of Ceremony support characters · Costumed characters to walk around the event · CCR Telecast Live to provide the event schedule and other information to delegates’ hotel rooms via the host hotel’s TV system · Various revisions of AutoCad™, lighting, audio, visual, and floorplan drawings
The Results	CCR provided our client with a single source for all requirements including set design, general sessions, Awards Gala, entertainment, audio and lighting support, as well as our unique CCR Telecast system.
